e-Conveyancing and the DIY mistakes we don't want you to make

The Electronic Conveyancing (e-conveyancing) Project is slowly becoming a reality with the pilot now being trialed in New South Wales and Victoria as of last month. The new system promises to streamline the conveyancing process and eliminate some unnecessary steps from the somewhat mandraulic conveyancing system.
However, it is recently becoming an alarming and common misconception that the EC Project will allow buyers and sellers to conduct their own conveyancing transactions with ease. DIY conveyancing is something that comes with risks and potential legal issues which could end up costing you a lot more. If you choose not to invest in engaging a firm specialising in conveyancing, you will be exposing yourself to barrage of possible risks including a costly lawsuit in the event your matter goes awry.
